The Association of Computer Engineers and Technicians, ACET, is a non-profit making association, established to promote professional standards within the IT industry.

The Association was formed by a group of IT professionals who identified that regulation is vital to the integrity and future well being of the IT industry, a view supported by the Department of Trade and Industry. Upon acceptance, an accredited Member is allowed to append ACET after their name.

All Members of the Association are insured and undergo a criminal record check

Along with a dedicated marketing and managed referral service, the Association provides inclusive through the Membership fee, a cost effective and user-friendly Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance cover, for those in the IT sector.

Allied to these services are a range of other inclusive benefits, such as privileged discounts, newsletter, legal support and educational programmes.
